On January 11, 2021, President Donald Trump appointed Ezra Cohen to a three-year term as a member of the Public Interest Declassification Board (PIDB), including a two-year term as its Chair. The PIDB members and staff welcome Mr. Cohen and look forward to working with him in continuing efforts to modernize the classification and declassification system to meet 21st Century national security needs, improve Government transparency, and operate effectively and efficiently with large volumes of digital data.
