Registration is now open for the Public Interest Declassification Board’s (PIDB) Virtual Public Meeting on Tuesday, May 18, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. To participate in the WebEx event, please register before Midnight, May 17, by completing the form at this link: https://ems8.intellor.com/?do=register&t=1&p=838480. After registering, you will receive an email containing a personalized link for access to the audio and video WebEx connections to this virtual event.
Once registered for the PDIB Virtual Public Meeting, you are encouraged to submit questions in advance of May 18 by email to: pidb@nara.gov. At the end of the meeting, Board members will respond to as many questions received before and during the meeting as possible.
The meeting will include discussions of records relating to the terrorist attacks on the United States of September 11, 2001 (9/11), by former 9/11 Commission member Jamie Gorelick and 9/11 Commission Executive Director Phillip Zelikow. David Ferriero, the Archivist of the United States, will provide opening remarks and PIDB members will provide brief commentary. The members have allotted time for questions.
