Registration is now open for the Public Interest Declassification Board’s Virtual Public Meeting set for October 7, 2020, from 12:00-1:30 p.m. To participate in this WebEx event, please register before Midnight, October 6, by completing the form at this link: https://ems8.intellor.com?do=register&t=1&p=833206. After registering, you will receive an email containing a personalized link that will provide access to the audio and video WebEx connections for this virtual public meeting.
Once registered for the PIDB Virtual Public Meeting, you are encouraged to submit questions in advance of the meeting by email to: pidb@nara.gov. At the end of the meeting, Board members will respond to questions received before and during the event.
At the meeting, Senator Ron Wyden (confirmed) and Senator Jerry Moran (invited) will discuss the “Declassification Reform Act of 2020,” legislation that they co-sponsored, and which aligns with recommendations in the PIDB’s May 2020 Report to the President.
