The Public Interest Declassification Board members visited the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia on July 16, 2025 for a demonstration of the application for automating the agency’s case management workflow and the development of several tools using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing. The members participated in a guided tour of the CIA museum.
The Board also held an executive session and discussed the plans for the public meeting to be held in the fall. The meeting was attended by PIDB members Mark Angelson, Carter Burwell, Ezra Cohen, Val Demings, Carmen Medina, and Alissa Starzak.
